UAE weather: Rainy, cloudy skies with a chance of thunderstorms in the evening
Today: Visibility may be hampered by blowing sand and dust caused by clouds.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicts rain and thunderstorms on Thursday evening, so inhabitants of the UAE should expect gloomy skies. Over the eastern, northern, and coastal regions of the nation, lightning, thunder, and rain are predicted.
According to the weather forecast, there will be sporadic periods of partly overcast to cloudy conditions along with the formation of convective clouds that will cause rainfall in certain locations.
It is anticipated that the temperature will drop throughout this time. This occurred following the NCM's 4-day rain alert for the nation, which was issued starting on Wednesday, November 15.
Winds are expected to be light to moderate on Thursday, with occasional fresh to strong gusts. Clouds can blow sand and dust, which reduces visibility horizontally. The Arabian Gulf is predicted to have moderate to occasionally rough seas, while the Oman Sea is predicted to have mild to moderate waves.
Residents have been informed by the Ministry of Interior about the current weather, which includes wind and rain in different amounts across the nation. The public is asked to exercise caution because rain, lighting, and thunder would make it harder to see.
It is requested of drivers to slow down on public routes, steer clear of ponds and swift-moving streams, and avoid beaches and the ocean.
Abu Dhabi and Dubai are expected to have highs of 32°C and lows of 22°C. At 14:00 UAE Local time on Wednesday, the country's maximum temperature was recorded at 35.7°C in Al Ruwais (Al Dhafra Rejon).
