RTA Announces Temporary Closure of Two Multi-Storey Parking Buildings in Dubai
The RTA has issued an urgent plea to drivers, in light of the maintenance work that will temporarily close the Al Rigga and Sabkha multi-storey parking complexes, to either find other parking places or think about using public transportation.
Maintenance work prompts a shutdown.
The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Thursday that two of its multi-storey parking structures, Sabkha and Al Rigga, will be temporarily shuttered. The closure is a result of maintenance work, according to the official notification. During this period, parking ticket holders at these impacted sites will have the option to use their permits at other facilities.
Alternative Parking Options Provided by RTA
The RTA has allocated alternate parking lots where permits can be used for the convenience of individuals affected by the closure. The Baniyas Building, the Naif Building, and the parking lots along Baniyas Road are all part of this. Subscribers should encounter less interference and be able to find acceptable parking options; this is the goal of the RTA.
Nearest Metro and Bus Stations for Public Transport Users
In addition to providing alternative parking options, the RTA has identified the nearest Metro and bus stations for individuals opting for public transport during this period. For commuters in the vicinity, the Baniyas Square Metro station is available, offering a convenient transportation alternative. Additionally, the Al Sabkha bus station and the Al Sabkha marine bus stop serve as accessible points for those relying on bus services.
The RTA encourages affected individuals to plan their travel accordingly, considering the provided alternatives and convenient public transport options. This temporary closure is part of the ongoing commitment to maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for Dubai's residents and visitors.
